I drive a lot of business trips using my own car, can I deduct my travel expenses?

Yes. If you drive your car from home to a workplace other than your main place of work, you can deduct the kilometers starting from your home yard, but you cannot deduct the kilometers between home and your main place of work, which are considered as private trips.
The kilometer allowance covers all expenses incurred in maintaining a vehicle, so fuel, maintenance, or insurance contributions cannot be deducted separately in our service.
You can use our service to enter travel expenses based on the number of kilometers driven in your own car. Find the New business trip function in your user account, which allows you to add your business trips to your driver’s log. Input the number of kilometers driven before and after the business trip, as well as the route driven and a description of the trip. The trips you enter will be updated as deductions in accounting when they are confirmed at the turn of the year using the Confirm business trips function. The deduction will reduce the annual earnings of your Business ID.
For example: if your office is in Vaasa and you go to Helsinki for a sales trip or for other work, you can enter a business trip.
If you are travelling out of town or abroad, you can add a daily allowance deduction in the service using the New daily allowance function. The allowance added reduces taxable income, so you get a tax benefit by filing a business tax return.
